Spotlight On...Lin Brandyberry! Part Deux

We are so lucky to have Lin Brandyberry back with us for another lovely post focusing on a really versatile and essential stamp set!  If you missed learning more about Lin and seeing her first oh-so-pretty projects CLICK HERE!

Now, it's Lin's time to sparkle and shine...

>>>LIN'S PROJECTS<<<

It's Lin again, back with some more cards for you.  Today I'm playing with the new Scenery: Stripes stamp set.  First I decided to make my own plaid, using some happy spring colors:

W&W Mar 19

supplies: Scenery: Stripes,  The Big,the Bold and the Happy cutaways, and The Big, the Bold and Seasons ("wishes"), Hero Arts Green Hills, Butter Bar, Soft Cantaloupe, and Mint Julep inks, sequins, scalloped border die, white and Mint cardstock

I simply stamped some of the stripes to make a plaid at an angle, then die-cut "happy" from a white panel and glued it over my stamped panel, allowing the colors to come through the cutaway.  I really enjoyed the process of making the plaid - this set has everything you need!

And for my next card I used aquas and browns with the stripes:

W&W Mar19

supplies: Scenery: Stripes and The Big, the Bold and You stamp sets, Hero Arts Mint Julep, Splash, Latte, and a dark brown ink, white, Mint, Audrey Blue and kraft cardstock, leaf dies, buttons, gold sequins

You really can't go wrong with these stripe stamps!  They are designed to work together no matter which way you use them, so it's just a matter of picking a pleasing color combination.

I want to send out a big thank you to Shay and Julie for having me in the spotlight this month.  I've enjoyed every minute of it, and look forward with all of you to see what they have coming up for us in new releases for the rest of the year!
