March Leading Lady Amy Tsuruta | Take Two

Our March Leading Lady, Amy Tsuruta, is back for her second performance!  If you missed her smashing debut you must see it...CLICK HERE.  For this performance Amy takes on a delightful theme with ingenuity, humor and her usual panache....

Hello, it's Amy and I'm back with Take Two!

Let's just jump right in, shall we?

Today's theme:  Crazy about Kraft

My first card is a masculine design, perfect for any festive occasion.  Love that sentiment because it is so versatile!

cardstock:  stampin' up night of navy/baked brown sugar  stamps:  winnie & walter/the party  ink:  fresh ink pool/teal/navy & turquoise  other:  winnie & walter 1st birthday bash sequins mix

The images are from The Party.  This is a must-have set, it truly is perfect for any kind of party!  I used 4 different shades of blue ink and sprinkled the 1st Birthday Bash Sequins as a finishing touch!

If you know me, you were probably waiting for a coffee project:

cardstock:  papertrey ink kraft, strathmore watercolor  other:  winnie & walter/in a word: cheers cutaway  other:  winnie & walter/essentials: katarine cutaways, black craft foam, starbucks coffee sleeve

I upcycled a coffee sleeve and used the In a Word: Cheers Cutaway!  I really love how this one turned out.  In order to make the word pop, I backed it with another Cheers Cutaway that I die cut with black craft foam.

The Essentials: Katharine Cutaways ...such a great die set.  The rectangle pierced panels are perfect for any project.  I used watercolor paper and did a wash of coral ink.

My final project is an embellished kraft bag.

cardstock:  strathmore watercolor  stamps:  winnie & walter/the party  ink: stampin' up white embossing powder, fresh ink/coral  other:  winnie & walter/in a word:  love cutaway, whisker graphics kraft bag, american crafts glitter cardstock, t$pot clipboard, recollections clothespin

The In a Word:  Love Cutaway was teamed up with glitter cardstock.   I did a messy wash of the same coral ink (that I used on the Cheers card).   I love how it makes the white embossed blooms POP, they are from The Party set.

The clipboard?  I love the Target dollar spot!

Want to read more about this particular project and what I have planned for it?  Make sure you pop over to my BLOG.

But before you go, Julie & Shay have kindly given me a $30 Winnie & Walter Gift card to give-a-way!  I'm going to do a random draw on the comments that are left on the Saturday Leading Lady posts here, on the Winnie & Walter blog!

Make sure you swing by my blog because I'm going to be giving away another $30 Winnie & Walter Gift card {I'm matching Julie & Shay's!}.  It'll work the same way, leave comments on the Winnie & Walter Saturday posts on my personal blog for the month of March and I'll do a random draw for one lucky winner!
