Shades of Spring | Thanks with Vanessa

Hello everybody! Here is Vanessa. Are you ready for spring? I am! So I have a flower card for you to get you into the right mood. I used the new gold foiling technique here and to show you how I did it, I made a video. But first, a look at the card:

I started with a panel of watercolor paper, stamped the flowers from The Big, the Bold and Extras using Versamark Ink and applied Wow Bonding Powder to them. Then I heat-set the flowers with my heat gun. Now I colored them using Distress Inks mixed with water. Afterwards I applied the gold foil using a laminator. On the background, I stamped the leaves and heat-embossed them with white embossing powder. Then I colored them with Distress Inks again. I cut out the foiled flowers and adhered them with foam tape. Then I die-cut the word "thanks" from The Big, the Bold and You cutaways from black and white cardstock and adhered them to create a thicker word with a light shadow. I adhered everything to the cardbase and finished the card off with some gold ink droplets.

I hope you like it! To watch the video, please visit here. Thank you for stopping by today!
