June/July Color Combo with Heather (Challenge)

Good morning! Heather here stopping by this morning to share a new Color Combo Challenge with you! Since I will be taking a big family trip this summer, this month's challenge will actually run through both the month's of June AND July - so you get double the time to play along!

Here is my color inspiration for this month - I adore these soft and lovely colors! Makes me think of sitting on the porch on a cool summer evening!

I started off by using the negative of the die cut from In a Word: Hi Cutaway to create my focal point sentiment. I used two shades of gray dye ink, then added some Nuvo Glimmer Paste over the top for some sparkle and shine!

I then stamped and die cut several of the florals and leaves from In Bloom: Victoria's Very Merry Flowers (gotta love a holiday set that you can use for a summery card, right?), then die cut them with the Coordinating Dies. I arranged them around my large word, then added a sprinkling of white jewels to finish off!

Now - I have a few favorites from the last Color Challenge to feature! I loved seeing everyone's take on the neutral colors - such a fun and different style of cards!

First up - this was such a unique and fun card by Nananas - it jumped out at me from the gallery with it's clean lines and fun playful design! 

Next up, I thought this was such a unique and artsy design by Sandie! Love the modern and clean lines!

And finally,  isn't this card by Maryam an absolute work of art?!?!? Such a lovely card and great take on the inspiration photo!!!
