>>>ABOUT AMANDA<<<

Amanda black and white

Hello everyone! My name is Amanda and I'm happily married to my wonderful husband Konstantin. We live in Spain, where I discovered that crafting is a great therapy and something I enjoy doing for hours. I started my blog almost a year ago and I've been making cards and video tutorials on Youtube since then. I fell in love with Winnie and Walter products as soon as I discovered them and I'm so thrilled to be in the Spotlight this month! I hope you can find some inspiration in the projects I have made to share with all of you.

>>>AMANDA'S PROJECT<<<

When Shay told me the theme of this month was "Shades of Spring" I immediately thought about bright colors, contrast and shine! I love those spring sunny days and that's what I have tried to represent with this card:

I love these flowers from the stamp set "The Big, the Boldand Extras" , so I first stamped them in white cardstock and colored them with Copics. The banner is from the same stamp set and I took the sentiment from the stamp set "The Big, the Bold and Party". I just love all those small words that come with each set because you can make great combinations for your sentiments.

As I said before, spring makes me think about sunny days and that's why I added all that gold, starting with two stripes of glitter paper on the sides. The sentiment is also embossed in gold and the sequins gave the whole card a really nice final touch together with the white dots I drew on the background.

I wanted the card to have some dimension, so I fuzzy cut the flowers, leaves and the banner and assembled them using foam squares.

And that's it for today! I hope I brought you some inspiration and that you will join me again next week with another project! See you then!

  1. You've captured shades of spring with style, elegance and flair! The roses are beautifully coloured; so eye-catching. The sentiment banner and scalloped edges (love the gold) add marvelous impact. A stunning card! Congrats on being in the Spotlight...your creativity is impressive!
