It is so hard to say adieu to such a splendid lady! Today is the final performance of our March Leading Lady, Amy Tsuruta. Before she leaves, Amy has outdone herself with her last performance....
Hello, it's Amy and I'm back with Take Four. I can't believe this is my final day as the March Guest Designer! I wanted to give a BIG shout out for Julie & Shay for their kindness and generosity! I have thoroughly enjoyed myself....Winnie & Walter products are FABulous♡
Today's theme: this 'n that
(chuckling) I initially was going to go with a green theme and then I may have gotten excited and strayed from the green but I wanted to share all of my projects.
Let's get started...first up, no surprises here, a coffee project.
I used a Behr paint chip (thanks michele for the inspiration)...I have several paint chips, more on that later. I love to fussy cut To-Go cups...and I thought the green would be perfect. It makes the, In a Word: Love Cutaway, POP, don't you think? It's been cut with white craft foam. The overall design of the card looks Preppy to me.
Next up was a super quick project, almost too quick but I wanted to show you a way that I'm storing my twine.
I have a ton of twine, a ton of the stuff. I'm keeping my favorite spools in mason jars that I put drawer pulls on. Well, I should say, it was a team effort, Darin drilled the holes. The tag/banner are from the Essentials: Katharine Cutaways set.
My next card was thoroughly inspired by The Party set. Who doesn't love a fun party hat? I used Lulu Fringe Cutaway with orange tissue and trimmed it a smidge.
Hang tight, only a couple more projects! Here's another one that uses a paint chip. I combined, In a Word: Happy Cutaway with the word birthday from The Big, the Bold, and the Happy set.
I heat embossed the birthday in black. The contrast is perfect. Just think of the possibilities with paint chips....happy home...happy baby...
Here's my final card:
Funny thing, I actually made this for Take One but decided to not share it. It's perfect for my final post because I've had so many happy days with Winnie & Walter!
I heat embossed the cupcake and cake plate from Sugar Rush. The tag is from Essentials: Katharine Cutaways.
Whew, that's it for me but before you go, Julie & Shay have kindly given me a $30 Winnie & Walter Gift card to give-a-way! I'm going to do a random draw on the comments that are left on the Saturday Leading Lady posts here, on the Winnie & Walter blog!
Make sure you swing by my blog because I'm going to be giving away another $30 Winnie & Walter Gift card {I'm matching Julie & Shay's!}. It'll work the same way, leave comments on the Winnie & Walter Saturday posts on my personal blog for the month of March and I'll do a random draw for one lucky winner!
