We have been so very excited about today. Stampets (stamp + pets) are our cute friends for you to color and add to your crafts. Shay originally drew these with pen and paper and Julie worked her magic and made them just right so they could be stamped by all of you! So this is a true melding of Julie + Shay or Winnie + Walter. ;-) We are nearly dancing around in anticipation to see how you use the Stampets in your projects.

Can you believe it is Day 4?
What a week! We can’t thank you
enough for checking out the new release and all of the wonderful support you
give to us. It is such a joy to read
your comments and hear your enthusiasm for our products. We {puffy heart} you!
I have not had the chance to make many Halloween cards this
season, so I decided to make my card for the Stampets day be a Halloween theme
since this would technically be the last card of the season.
J Our new little feline from
Stampets: The Gift helped me out and I
stamped her over a mask of the hat and pumpkin from
Moonlight.
I used my Letraset Aquamarkers with a water brush to color in the elements of
my image. Watercolor makes me happy!
The small image was mounted to black cardstock and popped up with foam tape over a sheer black with white polka dot ribbon tied in a simple
knot. The happy haunting sentiment is
also stamped from Moonlight and accented with 3 orange gems. Simple, fun and cute for Halloween. These little Stampets are going to get a lot
of use on my craft table and I bet they will on yours too. The elements are interchangeable for even
more fun!
Prepare yourself for more “oh so cute” projects using these
fun characters. It is evident that Shay,
the Talent and our guests have been having a ball!
Shay
Card No. 1
I went pretty simple with this card. I paper pieced the stocking from Stampets: The Gift from the 6x6 Wonderland paper pad by Studio Calico. I attached a loop of baker's twine behind the stocking. I stamped the cat from the same set on watercolor with grey dye ink. I colored in the cat lightly with watered down weather wood Tim Holtz Distress Ink by Ranger and then stamped the cat again in weathered wood. I attached part of the cat behind the stocking.
I die cut "merry" and "christmas" from The Big, the Bold and the Merry Cutaways from red and blue cardstock. I liberally used clear Wink of Stella on them because holiday cards need shimmer and shine!
For the background I used Big Bang Sci-Fi Star Creative Screenings and calico shine Mister Huey's Color Mist by Studio Calico on a white card base. I attached all the components to the card and we have a finished card!
Card No. 2
I again went with items from Stampets: The Gift along with the massive tree from Winter Woodland to come up with a card. I stamped the tree with evergreen bough Tim Holtz Distress Ink by Ranger several times on watercolor paper to get a nice full tree. I cut it out and used tiara Stickles by Ranger to add an interesting garland. I set it aside to dry.
I paper pieced the present from Stampets: The Gift using the Wonderland 6x6 paper pad by Studio Calico.
I stamped the pointy-eared pup in cup o'joe Hero Arts Mid-Tone Shadow Ink on watercolor paper. I watercolored the pup in antique linen and brushed corduroy Tim Holtz Distress Ink by Ranger to look like my little chocolate chihuahua (although looking at him I realize I should have colored in his tummy with paler pinker shades...which I will do next time!). I cut the little guy out.
I die cut "happy" from
The Big, the Bold and Happy Cutaways from watercolor paper. I also stamped "holidays" from
The Big, the Bold, and the Happy stamp set on vellum with Versamark and embossed in bronze.
For the background I sprayed calico shine Mister Huey's Color Mist by Studio Calico with Scenery: Flash Creative Screenings on a kraft card base.
I then adhered all the components to the card and added a metallic red sequin to top the tree. Whew! That's it for me.
