Hi dear Winnie & Walter friends! Vanessa here with a challenge
using my favorite technique! I can't help it, but applying ink to cardstock
with an ink blending tool makes me happy! It's always a bit of a surprise how
it turns out, but most of the time I like the result :) So my challenge for you
is:
INK BLENDING
You can go wild here. Just blend inks on a background, use masks
or stencils, die-cut words from ink blended panels, ink blending over
heat-embossing, subtle or bright ink blending - whatever you can imagine, have
fun and share it with me!
For my sample I used one of the Creative Screenings and blended
inks on the background of my card:
It's really easy. I adhered the stencil over my card and applied
the inks in circular motions with an ink blending toll. You can use Distress
Inks, Dye Inks or Pigment Inks. For my card, I used various Dye Inks.
The images were stamped onto the card and onto a separate piece of
cardstock. I colored them with Copics, fussy-cut them and adhered them to the
card with foam tape.
I can't wait to see your take on this challenge! Happy inking!
Vanessa
