Hello there everyone! I do hope you are having a great day! I have a challenge for you that may make it a little brighter ;)
Bright Colours!
I'm in the need for some bright and happy colours, also I'm really into bright, rainbow colours at the moment so I thought it would be fun to get you guys in on the act too.
So I'm asking you to create a project that incorporates bright colours. You can use inks, sprays, embellishments, coloured cardstock, you name it as long as I can see some bright colours I'm happy !
Here's my card...
First I started on some watercolour card and stamped and clear heat embossed Bed Of Roses, not inking up the edges of the stamp gives a softer look to the edges. I then covered the images with clean water and dropped in inks to create a bright rainbow effect.
The sentiment is from Sentimental: Endearments I stamped this onto a strip of black card and embossed in white. To add a little more detail to the edge I stamped one of the triangle borders from Scenery: Stripes 2 in black.
I hope you take up the challenge... I can't wait to see what bright beauties you come up with!
Hugs, Lydia x

ReplyDeleteLOVE emboss resist and with these deliciously bright colors, it is irRESISTible!!! :) Great tip about not inking all the way to the edge of the stamp for a softer look. Thank you for this wonderful challenge and for sharing your beautiful card!!
