w&w 4th Birthday Bash | Inspiration Challenge with Gayatri

Hello and welcome to my Inspiration Challenge. This is Gayatri Murali for you. First I like to wish Winnie and Walter Happy Happy 4th Birthday and many more such birthdays to come. So happy to be part of the celebrations this year. Hope you participate and celebrate with us.

I have an inspiration challenge for you as part of the Birthday Bash. 

You can use the photos as your inspiration for your card or you can use the colours as your inspiration. I have used both on my card for the challenge.

Here is how I made the card.

1. I have used W&W’s Big Round Balloon Cutaways and In a Word: Birthday Tiles Cutaways to make my card.

2. I die cut a few of the Big Round Balloons using white cardstock. Then I sponged distress inks in Aged Mahogany, Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose, Victorian Velvet and Pumice Stone on each of the sizes of the balloons in ombre fashion.

3. Then I also die cut couple of balloons in gold glitter cardstock.

4. I then randomly layered the balloons and adhered on the top of the card front.

5. For the sentiment I die cut the birthday tile cutaway using gold glitter cardstock and adhered flush on the bottom of the cardfront.

6. The smaller sentiment is from Sentimental: Birthday stamp set simply stamped on strips of cream cardstock and adhered using foam adhesives.

7. Finally embellished with with puffed sequins from PinkFresh Studio. Here are couple of closeups for you.
