Happy Saturday crafty friends! Today I am here with my 3rd project combining stamping and die cutting.

This card is made using two of Winnie & Walter Sets. Sketchy Thoughts Stamps and Sketchy Thoughts Cutaways along with  In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet with Joni Andaya First, I stamped the leaves from Lola's Bouquet  in three different shades of gray onto the white card base. (Tip: Allow drying between stamping to avoid getting your fingers inky and staining the card... as I did)

Next, I stamped the speech bubble from Sketchy Thoughts using the middle shade of gray. Using white embossing powder, I heat embossed the sentiment from Sketchy Thoughts and once that was dried I die cut using Sketchy Thoughts Cutaways

Before placing my speech bubble, I added a few strips of washi tape, then with 3D foam adhesive I placed my sentiment.  Giveaway: Comment on my corresponding Winnie & Walter post on my blog for a chance to win a $30 gift certificate. There will be 4 posts for the month of June, giving you 4 entries to win.

That is all for this Saturday. Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy the sunshine!

  5. I wouldn't have even noticed the slight smudges had you not mentioned them. The leaves look amazing in the different tones of a gray. I would never have thought of trying that. The washi adds just the right amount of glitz and gleam to your wonderful card!!
