Rerun No. 22 | Sugar Rush (Challenge + Giveaway + Sale!) + Winners of Rerun No. 21

Now on to this month's Rerun!

Each Rerun will provide plenty of inspiration focusing upon a featured product, a month-long sale on the featured product and a challenge (with a prize!) and giveaway.  You will not want to miss out!

For our twenty-second Rerun we are concentrating on Sugar Rush. With a cupcake, donuts and a two-tiered cake you can decorate to create sweet projects for special occasions or just to say hi, this set is really a winner!

Now on to the cards!

I have always thought Sugar Rush was an adorable set with tons of possibilities and am excited to have it as our featured stamp set for Rerun this month.

I created a couple of cards for you today with some bright, happy colors and using only Sugar Rush and Essentials: Katharine Cutaways.  I stamped the cake stand on each in green ink and then colored over it with a green colored pencil.  I then stamped the cake and cupcake on the stand on the cards using black ink.  For the cupcake I stamped the cool pattern on the cupcake wrap in orange and the single candle in black ink.  For the cake I then also stamped the flower decoration on top.  I colored in the cake and cupcake with colored pencils in pinks and oranges (the leaves of the flower decoration obviously in green).  I stamped the banner in pink under the cake stands and the sentiment over the banners in black ink.  I added a little shadowing to the cake stand and banners.

I have to admit I was unsure of the cards at this point especially the cake one as I had also gotten a little bit of black ink on the background so I decided to cover that with some pink and orange stars and guess what I like the end result!  I cut each of the panels using the larger rectangle from Essentials: Katharine Cutaways and then attached them onto an A2 card base with some green polka dot patterned paper attached to the front.
