Hi everyone, it's Taheerah! I hope you've been enjoying all the World Card Making Day festivities! Haven't all the challenges and inspiration been amazing?!

I'm sharing a second challenge with you - don't forget to check out my Make A Card For A Friend challenge too!

One of my favourite things to do when I went shopping as a kid was to check out the Pick 'n' Mix counters in the sweets section. I used to love eyeing up all the pretty colours and shapes, and enjoyed opening up the bins to grab a scoop of sweets! I didn't really enjoy those sweets so much themselves, but I liked the activity!

I'm channelling the Pick 'n' Mix counter for my second challenge. I've selected 'scoops' of different elements to build a card. Simply choose one scoop from each category and use them to build your card!

First up, colours:

Pick one neutral plus up to four colours to create your colour combo!

Next, techniques:

Pick one technique and use it when creating your card!

Next, trends:

Pick one trend and use it when creating your card!

And finally, elements/themes:

Pick one element/theme and use it when creating your card!

Is your mouth watering in anticipation?! Mine was! I created a couple of cards with a couple of scoop combinations!

Here's my first card:

I used a combination of white, mustard, merlot, lawn, woodland and heather for my colours!

I used the heat embossing technique and heat embossed the leaves from In Bloom: Renee's LeavesNext up, I embraced the watercolour trend and watercoloured the leaves for an autumnal look, and added a little splatter from the colours used to my panel for added interest!

I chose my words from The Big, the Bold and You to build my sentiment, and added it in black ink. The end result, with the leaves and font combination, is a masculine themed card which also would work as a sympathy card too.

Is this challenge starting to make sense now? Let's have another go!

Here's my second card:

I used a combination of white, blush and aqua for my colours!

I used the fussy cutting technique to trim out all the pine boughs and pinecones from Winter Woodland, and the berries from In Bloom: Elsa's Flora too! I snuck in a little watercolouring technique on the berries. Sometimes the trend doesn't need to be the star of the show!

I stamped the sentiment from Merry & Bright with Evelin T Designs in grey ink, selectively inking it twice so I could build a custom sentiment. The end result is a Christmas themed card that is delicate and pretty!

So now it's your turn! Create a card using the Pick 'n' Mix items to build your card. Use one choice from each category and really stretch your creativity! And remember you can use any products for the WCMD challenges, not just w&w ones! Link it up to the Inlinkz below. I can't wait to see all your creations!

Prize: One randomly chosen project that is linked up will win $50.00 gift credit to the w&w shop.
