Hello and Welcome to Winnie & Walter’s World Card Making Day Challenges. This is Gayatri and its my turn to host a challenge for you.
My challenge for you today is a colour challenge - Rainbow Colour Challenge.
I love to see rainbow of colours on your card. You can use whatever techniques you are comfortable with. I have used watercolour technique to make my sample card for you.
I have white heat embossed Mini Scenery: Madison stamp set on watercolour paper and coloured the image using Zig Clean Brush Watercolour Pens in rainbow colours. I started with a light colour wash initially then built the colours in layers. Love the colours. I die cut this panel using the largest scalloped rectangle die from Essentials: Audrey Cutaways. I adhered this panel on a pink card base.
For the focal point, I stamped the flower, leaves and foliage from In Bloom: Addie’s Garden stamp set on watercolour paper, coloured with Zig Clean Brush Watercolour Pens and die cut them out with the coordinating dies. Since the background has vibrant rainbow of colours, I kept the focal floral cluster muted. I adhered the die cuts in a cluster on the bottom left of the rainbow coloured background image.
The sentiment is from The Big, the Bold and Party Cutaway die cut using grey glitter paper. I adhered the sentiment die cut vertically for a change and added interest. Finally embellished with Rose Gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
Hope you are inspired by my rainbow card. So its your turn to play along. Have a fun creating a rainbow card and share your gorgeous card with us using the linky below.
