For our fifteenth Rerun we are concentrating on Scenery: It's a Wonderful Pennant.  This set has elongated triangles in two main sizes in several designs for use in created patterns, trees and other fun ways.

Now on to the cards!

Shay

Give me geometrical shapes and I am a very happy girl!  I feel you can really become creative, experiment and play with the possibilities.

For my first card I went with a masculine design.

shay_IMG_4041

I paired Scenery: It's a Wonderful Pennant with Winter Woodland.  I created a background with the wood slice in pumice stone Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  On another piece of cardstock I stamped the smaller wood grain pennant in stormy sky as a border and then cut them out.  I added the border to the wood slice background.  I then flicked watered down stormy sky and faded jeans Distress Ink over the stamped background.  On the card base I stamped the sentiment from Winter Woodland in faded jeans and attached the patterned paper panel.

I went with brighter colors for my next card.

I simply stamped a pattern with the larger star pennant in spun sugar, twisted citron, cracked pistachio and peacock feathers Distress Ink on the bottom and top of a white cardstock panel.  I then stamped the sentiment from Merry & Bright with Evelin T Designs in Versamark and then heat embossed it with silver.  To finish off the card I added some stars.

Two easy peasy cards that I hope will inspire you to try your hand at creating something for this Rerun Challenge!

That's it from me...wait until you see what Gayatri, Heather H. and Lydia did with Scenery: It's a Wonderful Pennant!
