Fiesta | Rainbowtastic Thanks with Mayuri

Hello there - Mayuri here to share a card using Scenery: Stripes to create a simple, colourful background.

I began by stamping one of the solid stripes from the set at a diagonal on a panel of white cardstock. I used a rainbow assortment of Distress Inks and staggered each impression as I stamped for a bit of interest.

Once I was happy with the background, I trimmed it down to slightly smaller than my card base and then stamped a couple of the smaller sentiments from Bubble Talk with black dye ink.

I also stamped some sequins from Scenery: Big Bang Bling and then foam mounted the panel to a kraft card base. I die-cut a larger sentiment from The Big, the Bold and You Cutaways out of gold foil cardstock and adhered that to the card front.

To finish, I added a few gold sequins. I hope you'll explore and have fun creating your own backgrounds!
