We are so very excited to have her joining us!!
>>>ABOUT HEATHER<<<
1. Favorite snack(s) while creating: I’m especially fond of ice tea when I’m creating, but I also love any chewy candy – gummy or caramel especially!
2. Color combo I can’t get enough of: Oh – that changes constantly! I’m really loving mint, coral, and gold – in any combination of all or some of them!
3. On my desk/table right now is: Um…normally I would say a mess, but I just cleaned up for company visiting for the week. So other than the staple craft supplies like my scissors, tape gun, paper cutter, etc… it actually looks pretty clean!
4. I excel at: Oh goodness – that is a hard one! I often joke that I am not necessarily an expert at anything, just okay at lots of different things! As far as hobbies, being a busy stay at home homeschooling mom has made me realize I don’t have time for a lot of different hobbies, so I mostly focus on scrapbooking and card making – so that is what I strive to excel at! I also enjoy photography, playing guitar, and reading when I have the time.
5. When I craft I: watch tv/movies; listen to music; listen to the voices in my head; and/or prefer silence: I am often crafting while my daughters are doing their homeschool work behind me at their desks, so I frequently as listening to them – but I love to put Pandora on to listen to. I mostly scrap with Project Life, so that is usually on the floor in front of the TV watching a movie with my hubby.
6. My favorite crafting companion(s): I spent many hours crafting with two wonderful friends when we lived in Wyoming (Crystal and Holly) who I dearly miss since moving! One of them moved to the Houston area right after we moved back to Washington. The other is still in Wyoming (and actually here visiting this week, so hopefully we will be able to sneak in a little crafty time while she is here!)
7. Don’t you dare take this away from me: Tea! I love the smell of coffee, but can’t stand the taste – so tea is my way to get a caffeine fix every day! My favorite that I love every morning is Harney and Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea – LOVE it!
8. My favorite crafting holiday/event: I think I make more cards for birthdays than any other event – they are always just so fun, and there is ALWAYS a birthday party to go to it seems!
9. My pictures are mostly of: My family and our vacations – unless you count cards! Sometimes I think I enjoy photographing cards as much as making them! Hehee…
10. When I grow up I want to be: I don’t really want to grow up all the way – my Grandma is going to be 101 years old this summer, and she is still so fun and full of life and laughter – if I live that long, I want to be like her!

ReplyDeleteCoffee hint... I too don't Really care for the taste of coffee but have been drinking it for years. Someone once told me to add a pinch or dash of cinnamon to the coffee before you pour the water in and it will cut the bitterness. Amazingly it works because I have to have cup each morning. :)
