Hello.
Firstly i just want to say thanks to everyone that stopped by last week for such a great welcome :)
I'm thrilled to be here for Valentines day and as you may guess today's theme is a total love fest.
If your not a fan of pink or hearts or valentines i apologise now as there is lots of all three but i do have something different for next week.

My first card was really fun to make.
Inspired by the cupcake from Sugar Rush I stamped, coloured and fussy cut.
I marked on my card base where i wanted the cupcake to go and the randomly stamped some of the hearts in picked raspberry distress ink around it.
I then needed the right words for the sentiment, luckily the big bold series have every thing covered.

Once the sentiment was stamped i adhered the cupcake and finished with some glossy accents on the hearts.

Card number two and more picked raspberry (yay!) and a  heart.
Not as clean and simple as my first card but CAS with a grungy edge (is that a thing? lol).
Have you seen the new Lulu Fringe Cutaway?
Its a fab fun die and saves so much time for the design i used today.
I die cut white card three times using the lulu fringe die then added some picked raspberry ink with a blender tool making sure that each side of the die cuts were different shades of pink to create the ombre look.
I cut each one in half and layered them together then die cut a heart from the finished piece.

For the sentiment i used the big the bold happy cutaways.
I die cut it four times and layered them then added crackle accents so you still get some shine but also texture.
Some random ink splatters , thread and sequins and i think i stopped just at the right time to get the look i wanted.
I had plenty of the fringe left to make a matching tag using the Essentials: Katherine Cutaways.

Now a card and sweet treat set.
The card uses the new In a Word: Love Cutaway, Essentials: Katherine Cutaways, Sugar Rush stamp set and lots of pink ink :)

I kept it very simple and used the generation stamping technique with hearts from Sugar Rush.
I simply coloured the die cut sentiment and added over the stamped background.

The same hearts get  a lot of use as i used them on white card to create patterned paper that i made the pouch from.
I used the zig zag edge die from Essentials: Katherine Cutaways on the top and bottom of the card to add some extra detail and the small tag made the window to show the sweeties inside.
My daughter has her eye on these already.

Julie and Shay have very kindly given me $30 gift card to the Winnie and Walter store to give away on my blog.
All you need to do for a chance to win is leave me a comment on my blog.
