Welcome to our third day of the our first-ever A Week to Die For! If you've missed the previous 2 days, not to worry you can check them out right now! CLICK HERE to see the first day's post and CLICK HERE to see the second day's post.
Along with our boundlessly talented Talent we've brought you a slew of sensational designers to spark your die cutting obsession.
Today we will be focusing upon Big Bang Confetti Cutaways + The Party Confetti Cutaways. Due to their popularity the past couple of days (thank you!), these items are either almost sold out or currently sold out. We should be getting them back in stock in 2-3 weeks. If you would like to know when they are restocked go to the product page in the w&w shop and enter your email address for notification.

Now let's get to the good stuff!
Shay
After doing more masculine cards this week I went with something more feminine that I could give my college age cousin or 40-something aunt (told you it was a big birthday month lol).
This card was something of a challenge as it kept on evolving. I cut the Big Bang Confetti Cutaways and The Party Confetti Cutaways from shiny gold cardstock. I cut "birthday" and "wishes" from The Big, the Bold and Party Cutaways from fuchsia cardstock. I attached the words and confetti to a piece of white cardstock cut from the smaller rectangle from Essentials: Katharine Cutaways. I then used Tim Holtz Distress Ink by Ranger in picked raspberry, mustard seed and wild honey with a water brush to color the panel. I added another layer of white "birthday" and "wishes" over the other words shifting them slightly to cause a shadow of sorts. I placed the colored panel on a black panel cut from the larger rectangle from Essentials: Katharine Cutaways with dimensional foam adhesive. Last I attached it all to a white A2 cardbase.
You've seen nothing yet though...I am merely here to warm you up for the real performance. Be prepared to be amazed!
