Hello again everyone! We really hope you've been enjoying World Card Making Day so far! Have you had a chance to get crafty yet?

If there's one thing better than getting crafty, it's getting crafty with a bunch of friends, right? That's how we feel and that's exactly why we invited some of our good crafty friends to join us today for The Big Hop! You'll come away feeling so inspired after seeing all the amazing creations everyone has come up with!

We're kicking things off with a card of our own:

Hello there lovelies!  It's Shay here.  I have the pleasure of kicking off The Big Hop and boy are there awesome stops after this!

I have a simple, happy card for you today using this month's Rerun stamp set Our Town.

shay_IMG_4207

I got inky on a piece of white cardstock using Tim Holtz Distress Inks in pickled raspberry, worn lipstick, ripe persimmon and wild honey blending them all in with my ink blending tool.  Then I flicked water over the panel for drama (it never gets old to see the ink react to water).  I let the panel dry.  Then I stamped the houses in black ink and the trees between them.  I stamped the stars from Sketchy Thoughts and the outline hearts from Our Town in the background in black ink.  Then I cut out the speech bubble using Sketchy Thoughts Cutaways and stamped the sentiment from Sketchy Thoughts.  Last for some interest I added star shaped gems.

This is a simple card, but the sentiment says it all.  Wherever you and whatever you are doing I send you all warm wishes and hope you have an incredible hop!

Thank you so much for joining us this WCMD.

As mentioned, we have a fantastic line-up of Special Guest Stars joining us today - as well as some of The Talent, too! Check out the Hop order below:
