Hello everyone! Vanessa here with
a colorful birthday card using the newly released stamps and dies!
I couldn't wait to play with the In
a Word: Birthday Tiles Cutaways and wanted to make them the stars of
my card:
I first inked the front of a white card base with Distress Inks
and an Ink Blending Tool. It may look like I used green and orange, but I only
used blue, yellow and pink!
Then I trimmed a panel from the same cardstock to fit the front of
the card and die-cut the words from it. After I had adhered the panel to the
card, I stamped and heat-embossed the numbers from Wish
Big with Evelin T Designs and the sentiment from Sentimental:
Birthday onto black cardstock, die-cut the numbers with the matching
dies and trimmed off a strip with the sentiment.
I adhered the numbers and the sentiment to the card, using foam
tape for the sentiment, and finished the card off with matching sequins.
Don't you love these dies? They are so fun to play with! Thank you
so much for visiting today, see you next month!!
