w&w_rerun_logo

Welcome lovelies to our next monthly Rerun!

For our seventeenth Rerun we are concentrating on In Bloom: Hollie's Festive Florals.  With an elegant wreath, multi-step flowers and leaves this is a lovely stamp set to create cheery cards and other projects.  Add in the brand-new In Bloom: Frenchy's Festive Florals with Angelica Suarez for even more possibilities!

Now on to the cards!

I really love In Bloom: Hollie's Festive Florals as it is packed with images to create not only holiday projects, but projects for everyday.  Also a benefit is that images can create a fast card in that you only need different colored inks.  I am in full holiday mode so I wanted to do a holiday card.  You probably know one of my favorite ways to use stamps is so create backgrounds.  I just can't stop myself.

I picked out the wreath image and stamped that in mint ink several times and over that I stamped the dot ring in a deeper mint ink. I then stamped the larger flower with open center in light pink and stamped the dot center in darker pink.  Last I filled in some of the open areas with a couple of the snowflakes from In Bloom: Frenchy's Festive Florals with Angelica Suarez in grey ink.

I next stamped "joy" from  In Bloom: Frenchy's Festive Florals with Angelica Suarez in dark pink and cut it out using In Bloom: Frenchy's Festive Florals with Angelica Suarez Cutaways.  I also stamped the rest of the sentiment using  In Bloom: Frenchy's Festive Florals with Angelica Suarez in black ink and cut them out into little stripes.  I adhered the sentiment to the background using dimensional foam adhesive on the "joy".  I then placed the whole background onto a black cardstock A2 panel that was then placed that onto an A2 white card base.  Last was a dash of dazzle around the sentiment because the holidays need sparkle and shine!

That's it from me...wait until you see what Gayatri, Heather H., Lydia and Vanessa did with In Bloom: Hollie's Festive Florals!
