Hello everybody! Vanessa here with a cute Easter card for you.
I love the new birds from the LS Exclusives: So Tweet with Evelin T Designs and wanted to use the set for this card. I thought the bird would make a great chick! Here it is:
I love the new birds from the LS Exclusives: So Tweet with Evelin T Designs and wanted to use the set for this card. I thought the bird would make a great chick! Here it is:
First, I die-cut a panel from woodgrain structured cardstock using the Essentials:Katharine Cutaways and adhered it to a white card base. Now I die-cut two eggs from white cardstock and softly inked their bottoms with an ink blending tool and stamped "easter" from The Big, the Bold and Seasons onto the blue egg. Then I stamped the chick onto cardstock, colored it with Copics and fussy-cut it. After I had adhered the eggs and the chick to the card, I die-cut a strip of yellow cardstock using the die from Essentials: Noelle Cutaways and stamped the word "happy" from Sugar Rush onto it. I trimmed the strip and adhered it to the blue egg. I stamped and die-cut the little flower from The Big, the Bold and Seasons and embellished the egg with it. Finally I adhered matching sequins from Little Things from Lucy's Cards.
What do you think? It's a fun chick, isn't it? I hope you liked today's inspiration! Thank you so much for stopping by!
