You are going to love her cards today!

Hello, it’s Amy and I’m thrilled to be back again guesting for the awesome Belated 2nd Birthday Bash!  I couldn’t wait to play along in a couple more of the challenges.  Here’s a quick peek at both of my cards:

Thankful duo by Amy Tsuruta for Winnie and Walter

My thankful card was inspired by Heather’s Color Challenge:  Coral ● Lime ● Aqua

The In Bloom: Paulina’s Greenery Cutaways are absolutely stunning, aren’t they?  I layered aqua and gold card stock.  The sentiments are from the Happiest of Holidays with Evelin T Designs.  I stamped the friendship sentiment on the scallop strip from the Essentials:  Noelle Cutaways.  Love the scallop rectangle as my card base.  I did a smidge of watercoloring in the middle to capture lime color.

Next up is another card using the Essentials: Noelle Cutaways as the base.  This card was inspired by Heather H’s Gold + Watercoloring Challenge.

I knew that I wanted to incorporate the Mini Scenery: Madison stamp into my design.  I used my MISTI to stamp it in Versmark and follow it up with clear embossing powder.  I quickly watercolored it with my Zig Clean Color Markers.  Isn’t the In a Word: Thanks Cutaway awesome in gold glitter card stock?  The sentiment is the same one that I used in my other card, from Happiest of Holidays with Evelin T Designs.

A big thanks to Shay and for all the W&W Design Team members for their awesome inspiration!

  12. Both of the cards are fabulicious! Absolutely love them. The Madison stamp, making it resist with clear embossing, then watercoloring over it was perfect Amy. Love ALL yr color combinations. Also like the design of the Madison stamp.
