Although I have been crafting and stamping for ages I am no expert.  That said you never ever need to be an expert to have fun and make great projects.  Let me show you!

I got out some of my old Stickles for a couple of cards today. It is good to go have a reunion with old friends. :-)

Card No. 1

I stamped the trees in black soot and colored in each of the trees...yes the black runs but truthfully I don't mind it as I sometimes don't want a crisp outline.  I colored in the trees with watered down Tim Holtz Distress Inks.  I then colored in the background.  I added some Stickles in purple, crystal and lime green for interest.  I set the panel aside overnight to dry.  I didn't like the background so I cut the trees out.  I stamped the sentiment with Wishing You with Evelin T Designs onto the white A2 card base in Tim Holtz Distress Inks and added some foam dimensional adhesive to the back.

Card No. 2

I stamped the leaf patterned large tree from Kindness with Evelin T Designs in Versamark onto a piece of cardstock stamped with the solid woodgrain from Scenery: Into the Woods in green and then embossed it in bronze.  I colored in the tree with Copics.  On a piece of white cardstock cut with the smaller layer from Essentials: Audrey Cutaways I stamped the sentiment from Kindness with Evelin T Designs in green inks and went over it with lime green Stickles.  I adhered it to a piece of patterned paper with dimensional foam adhesive.  On the A2 cardbase I stamped the small leaves in Versamark and embossed in bronze.  I adhered the tree panel to the card base.

Card No. 3

I die cut the solid and patterned True Multifaceted Heart Cutaways 4 times.  I used the solid hearts as masks as I used Distress Inks in tumbled glass and broken china to color the background.  I sprinkled it with water.  Next I took the patterned hearts and masked over the sections I had masked with the solid hearts and then pounced the color in with Distress Inks in twisted citron and crushed olive.  I adhered white patterned hearts over the hearts.  I cut out In a Word: Love Cutaway in vellum and white and layered them.  Then I colored a piece of cardstock with broken china and cut out the "you" from The Big, the Bold and You Cutaways.  Last step was adding some sequins.

That's it for me today, but you are only beginning with all the incredible inspiration.
