gueststar_emilyleiphart
It is a real treat to introduce our next Special Guest Star, Emily Leiphart!  Emily is so very sweet, generous and we love that she is so versatile in her approach...she is able to do elegant and cute equally as well.  Her ability to think of ways to come up with innovative designs makes her projects fresh, playful and breathtaking.  She's a true inspiration!  Make sure to give her a very warm w&w welcome!

>>>ABOUT EMILY<<<

emily for W&W Blog

I've been married for a decade, and have a very energetic and crafty six-year-old son who has made numerous appearances in my videos!  I have a background in corporate research but Im also an accomplished makeup artist so I still draw a lot of my inspiration from the fashion world.  My decision to stay at home after my son was born has taken me to so many places in blogland, where Im always finding new and fabulous products to create with.  Im excited and honored to be a Guest Star for Winnie & Walter's 1st Birthday Bash!

>>>EMILY'S PROJECT<<<

Hi, it's Emily Leiphart here, and I've been having so much fun playing with Winnie & Walter stamps. I love them so much that I wanted to share what I've been making with them. I've already made a couple different versions of these for both my mom's birthday and my mother-in-law's birthday earlier this month. In the video, I also share some tips and tricks for layering and hiding adhesives behind vellum!

I used The Big, the Bold and Extras to stamp the beautiful roses and leaves. The large scripted words are from The Big, the Bold, and the Happy and The Big, the Bold and You. The secondary sentiment created from the smaller typewriter font is a combination of three words from The Big, the Bold and You and The Big, the Bold and Extras.

I stamped everything in Versamark ink and used five colours of embossing powders for a clean and simple card with shimmer, shine and dimension. Using these stamp sets from Winnie + Walter has become quite the addiction. I've even created a stack of roses and leaves for future quick and easy last-minute cards. ;)

I just wanted to remind you about Winnie & Walter's first birthday challenges and giveaways! You don't want to miss it. You can find all the details by clicking HERE or on the banner below.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
