Hello everybody! Vanessa here today with a card sending you warm
winter wishes! We didn't have any snow yet this winter, so I wanted to at least
create a snowy card. Here it is:
I started with a panel of watercolor paper. It is trimmed slightly
smaller than my cardbase. I stamped snowflakes from Scenery:
Big Bang Flurries and The Big,
the Bold and Seasons with Versamark ink and heat-embossed them using
white embossing powder. Then I used an embossing pen and drew the
"strings" and embossed them as well. Now I applied water around my
snowflakes and while the paper was wet, applied various blue Distress Inks
mixed with water so they blended together nicely. After everything was dried, I
die-cut the "winter" from white glitter cardstock and adhered it to
the panel. Then I stamped the rest of the sentiment and adhered the panel to
the card. Finally I added some clear sequins for more sparkle.
I hope you like it!
Thanks
for stopping by today and happy holidays to you and your loved ones!!
