Hello everyone!

Happy World Card Making Day everyone! Gayatri Here today! Welcome to another challenge celebrating World Card Making Day. I have a sketch challenge for you today! Are you ready to play the sketch challenge?

Gayatri_Sketch for WCMD

I have used Halloween elements to draw my sketch because my sample card using the sketch features Moonlight stamp set which is on sale this month and October is Halloween month as well. You don’t have to make a Halloween card. Substitute the elements on the sketch with you own to make your card.

Here is my take on the challenge

Gayatari_Happy Halloween card1

I love stamping. Gives me great pleasure to layer stamped images to achieve that printed look. To add colour to the stamped images, I have sponged some purple ink keeping with the Halloween theme. Moonlight stamp set has so many images in the set which is perfect for layered stamping. To add texture you can heat emboss some of the stamped images. I wanted dimension on my card, so I popped up my sentiment using foam adhesives and sequins to bring the card together. Simple, easy and can be mass produced. Happy Halloween everyone!

Now it is you turn to play along the challenge. I cannot wait to see you what you do with the sketch.

Prize: One randomly chosen project that is linked up will win $50.00 gift credit to the w&w shop.

  22. Gorgeous Halloween card, Gayatri! Love the subtle coloring and crisp design. Usually I don't follow sketches because I tend to do it literally, but this time I tried... I can't say that I'm happy with the card itself, but at least I can't blame the sketch :)
