Our January Leading Lady, Stephanie Klauck, is back for her sensational second performance!  If you missed her smashing debut you must see it...CLICK HERE.   Today she brings you another adorable card and video that will have you thinking about love.

Ladies and gentlemen, Stephanie....

Hello everyone! It's Stephanie here and I'm excited to be back with another card to share using awesome products from Winnie & Walter!

For today's card, I used the So Tweet stamp set to create a clean and simple stamped design with some watercolouring, perfect for Valentine's Day! ;)

To create the card, I first stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto a watercolor panel cut to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I then stamped the two birds, one at a time, under the sentiment so they were positioned on either side of the heart. I love that once it's stamped, it all looks like one image.

I used my Kuretake Gansai watercolours to add colour first to the heart and the birds. I did red on the heart and yellow and blue on the birds. To get the desired affect, I laid down a first layer of colour, let it dry and then added a bit more colour on top.

When I had the heart and the bird images all coloured, I used a minty aqua green colour and loosely painted a heart around the birds. I started it small and then made it bigger until I had it how I wanted it. Once I had the shape figured out, I concentrated more of the colour on the outside of the heart and let it fade into the middle.

I finished the card by trimming down the panel 1/4" in diameter and then I added it to a grey card base and added some clear sequins for a bit of dimension.

You can see how I created my card in the video below:

Thanks so much for joining me on the blog today. I'll be back next Saturday with another card to share. ;)
