Hi there happy Wednesday! Hope you are having a good week :) It's Lydia here wit you today and I'm sharing with you a card using one of my favourite floral sets ever.... In Bloom: Addie's Garden.
I took the hydrangea from the set and stamped this all over the piece of watercolour card that would cover the whole front on my card. I stamped using VersaMark and then heat embossed with a white embossing powder. Once the piece was cool I then added clean water all over and then used my watercolours to 'drop' colour in. I added all of the colours then blended them using more clean water. As the paper was already wet this helped the blending and also created a kind of ombre effect where the colours blend out to the white card at the bottom.
For the sentiment I used The Big, the Bold and Comfort, I took the words I wanted from the set to create my sentiment onto an acrylic block, I stamped and heat embossed this onto a strip of black card. I added the sentiment to the card with foam tape to add a little dimesion and added some sparkling clear sequins to finish.
I really hope you liked my card and I hope you have a great day!
Hugs Lydia xxx
