Dapper + Dashing | Hello with Vanessa

Hello everyone! Here is Vanessa with an easy card idea for you. I really love the Cover Model: Multifaceted Cutaway and wanted to use it a bit differently. Here is what I came up with:

For this card, I started with a panel of white cardstock. Now I simply colored the panel with Copics, starting with the lightest color, then went on to the next darker color, blending the colors where they met. This way I created a gradient panel. Then I simply die-cut the Cover Model and used the triangles on the card. After I had adhered them all, I stamped the hello from The Big, the Bold and the Happy. To match the colors of the triangles, I inked it using two different inks. Finally I adhered matching sequins to the card.

I hope you like it! Thank you so much for stopping by today!!

  1. Stunning ombre effect you created with the die cut and copics.

  2. Love how you used the cover plate here, so original!

  3. This is SO cool, so hip, so mod and just so fantastic - love the blues and the geometric fun this card has!! Just super well done and so clever!!!

  4. Love the color grading!! Awesome card!

  5. Most definitely dashing and dapper - and incredibly pretty, too!

  6. This card looks great how you used the cutaway.
