In Bloom | Hugs with Vanessa

Hello everybody! Vanessa here with a card for this month's wonderful theme "In Bloom". Oh, the possibilities! Don't you love the new floral stamp sets and dies? I can't get enough of them! My card for today is simply stamped, but with a fun little feature:


I have to admit, I did this with the help of a special tool. I resisted for so long, but couldn't any longer and bought a MISTI. To create my card, I trimmed two pieces of cardstock the same size and stamped the flowers, leaves, dots and the word onto both pieces with the MISTI to create two identical panels. Then I die-cut the window from one panel and layered it onto the second one with foam tape. Now I mounted the pieces onto my card and finished it off with the sequins.
