Hello Lovely Winnie& Walter Fans!!!

Happy Saturday!! Its my turn to be back on Winnie & Walter blog!

I'm so loving this fabulous Saturday feature as the Leading Lady...

Thank you Julie & Shay for making this possible!!!

Are you all ready for the holiday festivity yet???

I'm slowly getting there...I wish there were 48 hours in a day!

Holiday crafting is NO joke, its a serious process!

First we make holiday cards, then mail them, 

Next comes gift shopping and packaging,

I shared those ideas already...

now comes the preparation for after Christmas crafting.

Whats that?

As we all receive so many wonderful gifts and cards, after Christmas day its our turn to thank everybody for making the holiday special. 

Here are few Quick & Easy holiday Thank You card ideas...

I like my holiday thank you cards to be a little festive.

May be Christmasy colors or sparkly or few with few bells or stamped with holiday themed images.

 I used Scenery: Stripes stamp set to create my own plaid pattern, then diecut the word THANKS using In a Word: Thanks Cutaway

Its a fun pocket card...

The lovely bow is made with Take a Bow Cutaways.

For some fun texture I dry embossed the cardfront using Cover Model: The Leaf Effect Cutaway.

Love that we can use the die for dry embossing too!!

I also made a few postal friendly Thank You cards...

Love the small snowflake images in the Merry & Bright with Evelin T Designs.

Super easy card...just stamped the snowflakes randomly with various inks and heat embossed a few using WOW Gold embossing powder.

 The sentiment is from Happiest of Holidays with Evelin T Designs set.

Next comes the New Year cards...

Its great to send some Happy New Year cards too!!

I used my favorite True Multifaceted Star Cutaways for this card.

I created the background using the different star images from Comfort + Joy set.

The sentiment is from The Big ,the Bold, and the Happy stamp set.

For 2016 I used Doodlebug Designs Alpha stickers.

Hi Folks! I'm thrilled to be able to share our family's Christmas card here with you today! I always send photo cards, so I wanted the base of my card to be a photo of my boys. I also wanted to make a 3D Christmas card for something a little different, keeping in mind that it has to be a relatively simple card design due to the number of cards I need. The word "JOY" (from the recently released In a Word: Joy cutaway) is the perfect large size to act as a 3D element and stand for the photo (along with being part of the sentiment.)

    

I was so pleased to die cut the very thick American Crafts glitter cardstock with the In a Word: Joy cutaway ... cutting it 108 times no less! Here they all are in stacks of 10. 

Here you can see how the "JOY" sticks out. There is a thin strip of black cardstock folded in a rectangle adhered to the front of the photo and the back of the "JOY." This allows the "JOY" to be folded flat for mailing, and once the recipient opens the card, the "JOY" can swing out. It then becomes the stand to hold the photo upright. You may also notice a star charm hanging from a silver jump ring looped through the "O." I really like how the swinging star catches the light and gives a sense of movement when you open the card.

I made a few different versions with different colors of glitter paper, and multiple layers of "JOY" cuts. 

Here they all are, waiting to be put in envelopes. The ones on the left are all standing. The ones on the right are not. You may wonder why they are not standing. Think dominoes. Any breeze from children running by made keeping things on the table very frustrating!

Hello.

Today i have some gift tags to share, perfect for this months tagged theme.

I have some very different styles to share along with some of my favourite techniques.

And although i have made tags i think they could all work if placed on cards to.

This tag uses the True Multifaceted Star Cutaways. 

I used the solid die to cut the star from green card stock then heat embossed the word bright from The Big, the Bold and the Merry in clear embossing powder.

I then added the In a Word: Merry die cut.

I had coloured it with distress ink, some perfect pearls and lots of glossy accents.

The tag is finished with an eyelet and some twine.

For my next tag I have used the same die set but instead of using card I have made the star with a page protector and the fuse tool.

The clear star is filled with small star confetti.

I then die cut the patterned star from black glitter card and its joined to the clear one with the eyelet and some glossy accents.

I used the same method with the merry word die cut as I love this technique and how it comes out so sparkly and shiny.

So after a traditional then masculine colour schemes I have gone with a really feminine look with lots of pink and sparkle.

I started this tag by die cutting the tag from Essentials: Noelle Cutaways from pink card.

Then i stamped and heat embossed the house from Our Town and the snowflakes from Let it Snow in white and blended some distress inks over the the top. 

I really like the non traditional colours.

I actually made four of these tags.
Each of the smaller tags is joined with another piece of pink card.
I used the small open scalloped border die to cut the pattern at the bottom of each one.
They are finished with some pink ribbon and twine.

Hello Everyone!!

Its me Piali, I'm back with few more Winnie & Walter creations.

First of all ...thank you for all your lovely comments!

Gifts are the big part of winter holidays, Santa brings gifts , kid opens gifts on every night of Hanukkah...fun, fun ,fun!!!

I believe every gift becomes extra special with PRETTY PACKAGING!!

So today I have few pretty packaging ideas to share with you all.

Let's start with a pillow box...

I embellished a corrugated pillow box from SEI using fabulous Winnie & Walter products.

I used Stag head from Comfort + Joy Digital Elements.

The heat emboss the antlers with gold embossing powder...love the black & gold combo.

Loooove the True Multifaceted Star Cutaways!

I also stamped the pine branch image from In Bloom: Elsa's Flora set with black ink on cork.

Trimmed i and added as a layer to my embellishment cluster with some curly ribbon, a flair button & bells.

The sentiment is from Comfort + Joy set.

Next one is my favorite type of box...petal box!!

I used Silhouette Cameo to cut a petal box, then heat embossed the sentiment from Merry & Bright with Evelin T Designs with gold EP.

Gold and vellum are great combination... so I heat embossed the Poinsettia image from  In Bloom: Elsa's Flora set  on vellum using WOW gold glitter embossing powder. I created few Poinsettias.

 

Tied a bow with May Arts silk ribbon and added the layers of Poinsettias.

I also added few gold bells in the center.

Next up is the packaging idea for the popular gift... the GIFT CARDS!

Here is a quick and easy Gift Card Holder.

I created simple gift card holder out of cardstock.

One of favorite thing of the latest W&W release is the Scenery: Into The Woods Creative Screenings.

I created a soft stenciled background using distress ink.

I added a fun closure for the gift card holder using In a Word: MERRY Cutaway.

Adhered few layers of MERRY diecuts and tied  it with twine so that recipient can slide it off to open The Cardinal from Happiest of Holidays with Evelin T Designs set is too cute, had to use it on my project.

I colored the Cardinal using Copics and added some Wink Of Stella.

This gift card holder needed a little pop of  another color so I added few holly leaves from the In Bloom: Elsa's Flora set.

Holiday projects always need some sparkle, green Stickles were perfect for my holly leaves!!

How can I forget about candies... the most yummy gifts ever!!

I made few little candy box filled with M&M s for younger daughter to give out to her friends.

The box is digital cut file from Silhouette store, I changed it a bit to serve my need.

Filled the box with candies and added a fun gold glittery bow on it..quick & easy gift idea!!!

I used Take a Bow Cutaways for this project.
