Thank you so much for all of your kind comments and we are so happy you are enjoying what our November Leading Lady, Alice Wertz, and the Talent have shown you so far.  I am back with another couple of cards today and some little tags too.

I made a couple of cards using Tagged: Holiday Cheer and Sentimental: Gift keeping with one color palette per card.

 

I came up with a design and what I love about this is that you can create many cards each with a different family of color or choose a color combo for all or each one.  After I was happy with the pattern, I cut it out the stamped panels using the larger rectangle from Essentials: Lana Cutaways and attached each to a matching A2 card base.  I also cut the rectangle tag out of the same colored cardstock as the card base and flag tag from white cardstock using Tagged: Holiday Cheer Cutaways.  I then cut out the star as my tag hole for each tag using the same cutaways.  I put the tag together using dimensional foam adhesive, tied embroidery floss through the tags and attached them to the appropriate card using foam dimensional adhesive.  I left my cards fairly simple and without much embellishment, but they could certainly have sequins, gems, enamel dots and the like added.

I also made some tags using the Tagged: Holiday Cheer Cutaways using the same colored cardstock as the cards.  To create the background I used the Scenery: Grand Trellis Creative Screenings, ink blender and Distress Inks which matched the cardstock.  I kept the stencil in place and used a black pen to trace around the lines.  Next I stamped the sentiment and heart image from Warm Wishes to You in black ink.  Simple and rather cute, don't you think?  You can then add these to gifts and they match the card without being too matchy-matchy.

Today is all about the In a Word series which has a consistent length to all it's big words. We are introducing a new stamp set to the series: In a Word: Merry stamp set which has the stamp form of In a Word: Merry Cutaway, an outline of the same word, a new elegant "merry" and then a handwritten "merry" along with a few little images and smaller yet still bold supporting words.  We hope you find this set an invaluable part of your crafting arsenal!  Want coordinating cutaways to the stamp set? Thank you so much for joining us for our November 2017 Release Week!  I am really excited to share what we've created for you. :-)

I made a couple of simple cards for you today.  

I used In a Word: Holiday Tiles Cutaways to create the cards.  I simply cut each of the sentiments out of the frame (you just place the sentiment within within the open rectangle inside the frame) to create 6 tiles from white cardstock.  With 2 of the scalloped frames I watercolored one in red-pinks and the other blues.  On two white cardstock panels I attached the titles and with each I adhered one of the tiles within the frame which I attached to the panels with dimensional foam adhesive.  I adhered each panel to a white A2 card base.  Lastly, I added some stars and gems.

My cards are a very simple introduction to what can be done...wait until you see the marvels our guest, Alice Wetz, and The Talent have in store for you!  Please be sure to click the links to their blogs and leave them some love.

November 2017 Release | Coming Attractions

We are so excited to share with you previews of our November 2017 Release stamp sets.  We have 7 stamp sets releasing (as well as a free with purchase must-have stamp set) on November 10, 2017 plus some cutaways and creative screenings!

We've added to the In a Word collection by creating In a Word: Merry stamp set to coordinate with the ever popular and useful In a Word: Merry Cutaway.  In this set you will find the cutaway in stamp form as an outline and solid stamp along with another more feminine merry and a handwritten merry.  Also sprinkled in are accompanying littler words and images for a stamp set with impact and staying power!

We have a couple of lovely floral layering stamp sets designed by our very Lydia Evans and the first is In Bloom: Debra's Poinsettia with Lydia Evans that includes poinsettia building options and some wonderful sentiments.

The next floral stamp set with Lydia is the big and beautiful In Bloom: Very Merry Flowers with Lydia Evans which has a host of layering options for florals perfect for the holidays or any season of year!

Here is a new series called Tagged and we begin with a basic called Tagged: Holiday Cheer with sentiments for the holiday season and basic images to use all year long.

We are releasing another adorable and festive set by Evelin of Evelin T Designs which is Winter Wishes with Evelin T Designs full of whimsical arctic animals.

We are so thrilled to share more with you over the next few days as we premiere the stamp sets beginning tomorrow, November 7, 2017.

November Leading Lady Alice Wertz | Take One

As it is the first Saturday in November, we have the pleasure of the dazzling debut of our November Leading Lady Alice Wertz!  I have been an admirer of Alice's work for several years.  Her coloring skills, artistry and ability to create vignettes are phenomenal.      

I am really excited to see what Alice will be creating this month as she takes us on an adventure of her own design on Saturdays in November on the w&w blog.

Please give Alice a big round of applause to welcome her as she steps onto the stage for her first performance as our November Leading Lady! 

Happy weekend, all! =) I am thrilled to be the November Leading Lady for Winnie & Walter! It's such an honor and I have been having a lot of fun with some super cool products!

For my first project as the Leading Lady, I am sharing my love for texture and dimension.

I love adding textures with tone-on-tone die cuts for backgrounds on my cards. I know this process could take time sometimes, but it's well worth it! =) The background is created using two layers of In a Word: Birthday Tiles Cutaways cutouts. I usually use a negative of the cutouts as a guide when I glue them down.

The sentiment is cut using In a Word: Celebrate Cutaway and colored in rainbow colors with Copic markers.

This is probably one of my most favorite ways to create a clean background and I hope you find it worth trying!

Merry & Bright with Evelin T Designs is such a beautiful stamp set full of awesome sentiments for the season of various sizes.  I also love the illustrations Evelin did for this set.  I am really excited about revisiting this stamp set.

I went with a really simple design which can be easily mass produced.  I also happened to be giving you a sneak peak of new cutaways from our November 2017 Release since our release week begins Monday (check back for new stamps, cutaways and creative screenings ;-) )

I stamped "Peace on Earth" from Merry & Bright with Evelin T Designs on the center of the white hexagon panel (we really needed some hexagons, right?) in red and also the little leaf sprig from the same stamp set under the sentiments.  I added the tiny tag to the hexagon panel to create a cute ornament tag and added some red embroidery floss for a little fun.  I adhered the ornament to a A2 cardbase that I had already covered with some lovely patterned paper from the December Days collection by Pinkfresh Studio.

That's it from me...wait until you see what Heather H., Lydia and Vanessa did with Merry & Bright with Evelin T Designs...so awesome!
