Today's special guest star is incredibly talented with an attention to detail along with being a bright, lovely person. Nina-Marie Trapani was one of Leading Ladies last year and you can see her gorgeous projects on the w&w blog by clicking HERE.
Now it's Nina-Marie turn to take over the w&w blog....
Hello crafty friends! I am back again today with a card I created using Winnie & Walter’s
Welcome to the Family with Evelin T Designs and Sketchy Thoughts stamp sets with Zig Clean Color markers.
This card is also part of Winnie and Walter’s 3rd Birthday Bash, which I am so very happy to be
posting this as a Special Guest for the celebration! As part of the month-long 3rd Birthday
celebration, there are lots of challenges that you can enter in (and have a chance at winning a
giveaway!). I’m taking inspiration from the Cute Critter Challenge with Gayatri. Critters are one
of my favorite things to include in a card, so I could not resist!
Watercolor is a technique I enjoy incorporating into many of my cards; because of that, I thought
I would do some Zig Clean Color watercoloring! I thought it might be helpful to see a limited
marker selection used, as I know not everyone has all of the Zig markers. We all love to add
dimension and shading to our coloring, so we naturally think we need all the colors to help us
achieve that. But did you know that you can create beautiful depth and shading with just a single
marker color? In the video below, I will show you how!
• Bunny: Cool Gray 1 #099, Tea Rose #220
• Giraffe: Mustard #067, Yellow #050, Tea Rose #220, Mid Brown #065
• Elephant: Light Gray #091, Tea Rose #220
• Cat: Beige #072, Flesh Color #071
super cute card :) all the critters are adorable. thanks for the video tutorial, loved it!
