Happy Friday and our final Premiere Day!  Liking (maybe even loving) the new release?  We are going out big...like yeti-big. :-)  Evelin's sets this release are stunning.

I have two cards for you today.

I have to admit I am sort of in love with my first card.  I imagined the sugar plum fairy from Nutcracker Kisses with Evelin T Designs inside the snow globe from Snowy Holiday with Evelin T Designs and I created a card around it.

 

I stamped the snow globe on 3 different patterned papers.  On the snow layer I painted over the pale pink patterned paper with white paint.  For the main "glass" section I used a glitter patterned paper and dry brushed it with some white paint.  For the sugar plum fairy I stamped her cut her out with the corresponding cutaway and used Copics to color her in.  I adhered her to the snow globe and then I used a brush and the white paint and added dots of snow over the fairy and in the the snow globe.  For the sentiment I curved the sentiment and stamped it in Versamark and heat embossed it in gold and adhered it to the snow globe base.  The entire snow globe was attached to the panel cut using the largest decorative rectangle from Essentials: Tilda Cutaways with dimensional foam adhesive.  Everything was then adhered to a white A2 card base.

For my second card I went simple because the yetis are just so darn adorable they don't need much.  On a white panel I stamped the mom and baby yeti (darling, right?)  I colored in with Copics.  Then I stamped "happy" from Happy Birthday to You and cut out In a Word: Holiday Cutaway from patterned paper.  Last I added the border from Scenery: Stripes 2.

Happy Thursday!   How are you liking the release so far?

Let's see what I came up for you today:

For the first card I wanted something modern and fun.  So I stamped the deer from Snowy Holiday with Evelin T Designs and covered it with a mask.  I then inked up dots from Scenery: Dotty in peacock feather, abandoned carol and fossilized amber Oxide Distress Inks along with black jack ink.  Okay, I have a serious problem with gold spray because I used it once again and I know I will again because I love what it brings to the card.  Last I stamped the sentiment in Versafine.

The second card I stamped the adorable car with tree and colored it in with colored pencils...the image is so sweet that my mediocre coloring still looks good enough.  I stamped the sentiment (okay in all honestly I stamped the sentiment on a piece of cardstock and adhered it on later as I forgot to stamp the sentiment prior to adhering the panel with foam adhesive).  I cut out the card using the smaller patterned rectangle from the new Essentials: Tilda Cutaways.  Tip: when cutting these dies apart be patient and use as small of wire cutters as possible as they are packed close together.  I cut a black cardstock panel with the larger plain rectangle and adhered the stamped panel to the black one with foam dimensional adhesive. I placed it all on a panel I created using Scenery: Pennsylvania Polka Creative Screenings using a silver spray and then abandoned coral ink over that.

How is everyone enjoying the release so far?  We are just getting started! :-)

I am really excited to share what we've created for you this week. :-)

Let's see what I came up for you today:

My first set of cards feature In a Word: Grand Merry, In a Word: Grand Merry Cutaways and Cover Model: The Peppermint Zone Cutaway.

These two cards are super easy to make.  

For the first card I cut out the Cover Model: The Peppermint Zone Cutaway and adhered it to a white A2 card base.  I stamped "christmas" in cracked pistachio and "merry" in picked raspberry and then cut it out using the In a Word: Grand Merry Cutaways.  I then attached the Christmas strip to the card with dimensional foam adhesive and adhered the merry to that strip.  Last I tied some embossing floss around the card.

My second card is a dream to make.  Simply stamp Christmas multiple times and then merry over Christmas.  I finished off the card with some gold splatters because I simply can't help myself.

My last card is another easy card, but I think turned out well.  Using the free with qualifying $25.00 orders, You Are a Blessing, I inked up the leaf with Distress Oxide inks in peacock feather, broken china, fossilized amber and cracked pistachio and then spritzed it with water until the color ran and I stamped onto a piece of watercolor paper. I then stamped over some of the leaf with the dots in the stamp set.  I splattered the panel with gold spray and adhered the die cut using In a Word: Thanks Coordinating Cutaways.  I then adhered the watercolor panel to a mustard A2 card base with some foam adhesive in the middle allowing the edges to curl up for a more artsy feel.

Happy November everyone!  Finally I got my act together to get another squeeze in another release this year.  I can't thank you enough for your patience.

I am really excited to share what we've created for you this week. :-)

Let's see what I came up for you today:

I have to admit to being on a yellow kick lately and why not use yellow for holiday cards and thank you cards?

Both of these cards use the same ink Distress Oxide in fossilized amber and the new Scenery: Pennsylvania Polka Creative Screenings.  I really love this basic polka dot pattern.

For the first card I used the stencil, ink and ink blending tool on a A2 white cardstock panel (I used the inked stencil for my second card, but I will explain that later).  On another panel I stamped the "thanks" from In a Word: Thanks (the stamp set) Distress Oxide in peacock feather.  I cut the panel down down and added strips of yellow cardstock (to get it to perfectly match I found a pale yellow I then used the same yellow ink and ink blending tool to customize).  I added the thanks panel to the patterned panel with foam dimensional adhesive all attached to a white A2 card base.

Like I mentioned above for my second card, I used the already inked stencil and spritzed it with water before placing the stencil over an A2 panel and running my fingers over the back.  By "stamping" with the stencil each impression is a surprise.

I cut out the In a Word: Wonder Cutaway using a teal cardstock  I then cut out the tag from Tagged: Holiday Cheer Cutaways from pale pink cardstock and cut out the tag hole with the star from the same set.  I stamped the accompanying sentiments in abandoned coral from Tagged: Holiday Cheer on the tag.  I added the yellow embossing floss to the tag.  On the stenciled background I stamped the outline and solid stars from Tagged: Holiday Cheer in abandoned coral and peacock feather.  I flung some gold spray around too because I can't seem to create without it.  I added the tag to the panel with dimensional foam adhesive.

Last I adhered it all to a white card base.
