==========================================================

For all you fans of The Big, the Bold series it is your time to rejoice as we bring you the latest addition: The Big, the Bold and Baby along with The Big, the Bold and Baby Cutaways!  This addition includes big words: baby + boy + girl + surprise + sweet and are perfect for cards, baby books, pregnancy journaling, memory keeping baby showers and so much more!

We are introducing a new "follow up" scenery stamp set: Scenery: Stripes 2 to add a punch of the graphic that plays well with Scenery: Stripes or on its own to build backgrounds or to add a border.  Seriously this set has so many possibilities.

Today we are also introducing additions to the In a Word series which happen to all be the same length.  We are coming out with three (3) more this release: In a Word: Baby Cutaway + In a Word: Congrats Cutaway + In a Word: Precious Script Cutaway.  These dies are so fun and versatile that they will go with any style of crafting and since they are a bit chunkier than our The Big, the Bold series they would be ideal for some shaker projects too. :-)

January Leading Lady Stephanie Klauck | Take Four {Video}

Stephanie_Klauck_jan2017

Sadly January is coming to a close so we must bid adieu to our outrageously talented January Leading Lady, Stephanie Klauck.  The last four weeks with Stephanie have been full of joyful projects and exceptional videos.  Each project and post has been a delight with little special finishing touches which add a little sparkle and shine.  I feel so blessed Stephanie shared her talents with us this month!

If you missed her smashing debut you must see it...CLICK HERE or sensational second performance CLICK HERE or her triumphant third performance CLICK HERE.

Lucky for us all we have her final command performance today.

Hello! It's Stephanie here and I'm back with my last post (and video) as the January Leading Lady here at the Winnie & Walter blog. I have had so much fun creating and sharing with all of you here and I'm excited to share my last card with you.

For my last card, I decided to go with a winter theme since it is still winter in a lot of places and there are so many awesome wintery images in the newest stamps sets. I used the Season's Tweetings with Evelin T Designs stamp set and stamped the igloo and the penguin into watercolour paper.

Once I had them stamped, I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, along with a water brush and coloured my images in. Once they were coloured, I used the coordinating dies and cut the images out and then I set them aside so I could create the background panel on my card.

I used Peacock Feathers distress ink and added some colour to the center of a white cardstock panel and then I added some drops of water to give it a more distressed look. I trimmed it down and adhered it to a grey card base.

I stamped the sentiment with black ink and then I adhered the images with foam tape to give them some added dimension. To finish the card and add some fun texture, I used White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter drops and put them all over the igloo. When they dried they were sparkly, shiny and textured and look like icy snow.

To see how I created the card you can watch the video below:

Thank you so much for joining me here on the Winnie & Walter blog all month! I have really appreciated all of the sweet comments and am so glad you have all liked the cards and videos I have shared! Thanks so much for having me!

January Leading Lady Stephanie Klauck | Take Three {Video}

Stephanie_Klauck_jan2017

Our January Leading Lady, Stephanie Klauck, is back for her triumphant third performance!  If you missed her smashing debut you must see it...CLICK HERE or sensational second performance CLICK HERE.   Today she brings you bright, vibrant card and video that will have you feeling like it's spring.

Without further ado, Stephanie....

Hello everyone! It's Stephanie here again and today I have a card to share that features some bright happy colours and a spring wreath! Since it's winter in a lot of places right now, I thought a spring wreath would be a nice change from the snow.

For my card I used the In Bloom: Eva's Favorite Flowers and stamped a bunch of the leaves and flowers into white cardstock in an assortment of pretty colours.

Once I had them all stamped, I used the coordinating cutaways and cut them all out. It took a bit of time but was totally worth it when I was all finished.

To create the wreath, I used a compass to draw a circle onto a cardstock panel that I had inked up with Cracked Pistachio distress ink and then I added the flowers and leaves on with glue dots until I had the entire wreath full.

Once the wreath was done, I used the Sending You with Evelin T Designs stamp set (officially releasing soon) and stamped my sentiment with black ink in the center of the wreath. I also added a few hearts with it.

I completed the card by adding the finished panel to a grey card base and adding some white gems to the centers of some of the flowers in the wreath.

You can see how I created the card in the video below:

Thanks so much for joining me on the blog today! Ill be back next weekend with one more card to share!

Sending Hugs with Lydia

Hi there everyone and happy Friday! Lydia here with you today with a very vibrant card.

I have to say that I totally love this! If you are anything like me and are dreaming of summer this may be just what you need. I started off by stamping the sentiment from The Big The Bold & Greetings in a bold black ink- I did this so I could work around it, just over-lapping some flowers over it.

I then stamped flowers and leaves from In Bloom: Eva's Favorite Flowers in the brightest inks I own. I do love the bright, crispness of having these vivid colours against the white card blank. And that's it!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I'll see you again soon!

Hugs, Lydia x

Winter Happy Birthday with Kelly

Hello! I have a winter birthday card to share with you today. It's good to have these on hand for any birthdays that come right after the holidays, as I'm always in "veg-on-the-couch" mode for a week or two after the craziness of the holidays.

This card features the cardinal from Winter Woodland (glittered in red embossing powder) perched on a cozy evergreen branch. The evergreen branches were inked up in a light green first, and then I tapped a darker green ink pad on the edges to get a more natural, variegated look.

The "happy" is from In a Word: Happy Cutaway. I threaded a red strip of paper with "birthday" from The Big, the Bold and Party through the letters. I think that's a nice way to tie the two words together, and create a tiny border on the bottom of the card. The inside of the card is lined with a graphic patterned paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

-Kelly
