We are halfway through our Share the Love Week featuring Essentials by Ellen by Ellen Hutson LLC, but we have so much more inspiration, challenges and prizes awaiting you!
Ellen Hutson LLC is renown for their excellent customer service and generous support of the crafting community. The Ellen and her team at Ellen Hutson LLC were so enthusiastic when I approached them about featuring Essentials by Ellen for our Share the Love Week and joined in wholeheartedly with delightful inspiration with their take on each challenge on the CLASSroom. They are even offering gift certificates and a special shopping discount so be sure to visit the CLASSroom all week long! We are honored to have our stamps in their store and to ink up their products! :-)
Today our challenge is BACKGROUND BUILDING! Use products to build a background.
Shay
I must admit stamping backgrounds is a particular favorite and I can go a bit wild like I did for today's card. :-)
Using In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet with Joni Andaya I stamped and I stamped and I stamped some more on a sheet of watercolor paper using Distress Inks. Because the background was so busy I decided to add a layer of vellum cut using the largest panel from Essentials: Audrey Cutaways. On pink cardstock I stamped the words "have a" "wedding day" using The Big, the Bold and Extras and The Big, the Bold and Fun in Versamark and heat embossed it in white. I cut Essentials by Ellen Designer Dies, Brushstroke Wonderful by Julie Ebersole in white cardstock. I added the sentiments to the vellum panel. I hid the adhesive to attach the vellum to the background panel behind the cardstock rectangles.
Now for the brilliant projects showcasing background building by Lydia and Mayuri of the Talent! We hope we inspire you to create some Ellen Hutson + Winnie & Walter projects building backgrounds!
