Ladies and gentlemen, Melania Deasy....

Hi everyone!! Today I'm so excited to share with you my card for Winnie & Walter August Leading Lady Take 2!

I have so much fun playing with Winnie & Walter products! They have amazing designs and their products are so versatile!
The theme today is all about GOLD. I love gold!! I often use it on my cards because with the touch of gold, you can make your card shine more, elegant and trendy!

So here is my first card, I want to make it simple and elegant :

Winnie & Walter Supply that I'm using :
In Bloom : Maggie's Roses Cutaways to die cut the flower and the leaves
In a Word : Hugs Cutaway for the "hugs" sentiment die cut

First, I die-cut the hugs sentiment on gold card stock paper and a white foam, then I glue it together, I think it's the easy way to add dimension.
For the flower, I die cut the stroke on gold foil paper and the shape on white card stock and vellum then I also glue it all together.
The leaves die cut is from vellum and for finishing touch, I add gold sequins.

I combine the orange color with gold for my second card :

Winnie & Walter Supply that I'm using :
In Bloom : Addie's Garden for the flower and leaves
The Big, The Bold and Extras for the "celebrate" sentiment

I'm using gold embossing powder for the flowers, the leaves and sentiment, then color it using water color. The stripes banner is from patterned paper. I made the dots banner using stencil and versamark, then I add gold embossing powder.
The background is from dye ink with blending tool then I splash white and orange watercolor with my brush. For finishing touch, I add gold twine and gold sequins.

And here is the fun part!

Julie & Shay have generously given me a $30 gift card to the Winnie & Walter store for give away! For your chance to win please leave a comment on the Leading Lady posts on my personal blog. I will draw a random winner at the end of the month.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you like it and see you next week!
