w&w 1st Birthday Bash | Collage Challenge with Laura

Hey sweet friends! Happy New Year! I hope 2015 will bring you lots of happiness, joy and everything else you wish for. :) It's Laura here and I am hosting a fun collage challenge. I put together images that caught my eye and that will inspire you for sure. :) 

For my card, I used a lot of different Winnie & Walter products including the Creative Screenings. These are simply awesome! 

Some of you probably already know that I am a huge fan of critter stamps. I really like the Stampets: The Gift stamp set. See that white doggy I adhered on my card? It reminds me of my own dog, Jinny. She's a white fluffy dog so this image resembles her perfectly. 

For the white background of the card, I used the Big Bang Classic Star Creative Screening along with white embossing paste. Then, I sprinkled Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder from WOW on the wet stars. After letting the embossing paste dry for about 15 minutes, I heat set the embossing powder. 

I stamped some small reindeers from the Happy Christmas stamp set between the stars and adhered a tag onto the starry piece. The birthday sentiment is from the wonderful Winter Woodland stamp set. I love that it also includes non-Christmas sentiments. 

After adhering a piece of patterned paper on a notecard, I tied a bow using black baker's twine and adhered it onto the tag. To finish off, I added lots of sparkle and glitter. First, I created cute dog eyes using Glossy Accents and Clear Wink of Stella glitter. Then, I added glitter using the same glitter pen to the reindeers. Finally, I adhered a mix of Pretty Pink Posh sequins. :)
