Share the Love Week Featuring Lawn Fawn | Day 1
Welcome to our first Share the Love Week in which we pick a company that we love and use their products with our very own winnie & walter ones and feature them right here on the w&w blog.
We are starting up our Share the Love Week with a marvelous company that began with adorable stamps and now also has paper collections, lawn cuts (dies) and numerous other fabulous products. Yes, we mean the one and only Lawn Fawn. We love the sweet people behind Lawn Fawn as well as all of their designs. The designs are not only spectacularly cute, but original and versatile. Imagine that!
>>>THE GOOD STUFF<<<
Julie
What a way to greet someone in the mail! On this BIG, BOLD & BRIGHT card, I used the Lawn Fawn set Sunny Skies for the puffy clouds that are masked with the sun behind them, as well as the kite elements and the word Sunshine from the larger sentiment "you are my sunshine" popped up with foam adhesive. The background is Twinkling H2O's that practically jumped out of my drawer and said "please use me! It's been too long :)". I added the chain of hearts from You've Got Love Mail to the kite to add a sweet detail. I inked up only three hearts for the center of this kite, and I found out that the whole set of 5 hearts fits on the larger kite - BONUS!! The hello is from The Big, the Bold and the Happy Cut That Out digital cutting files that coordinate with the stamp set by the same name.

My card is truly a marriage between our stamps and Lawn Fawn's. The background is stamped using the heart border from Lawn Fawn's Belinda's Borders stamp set and the "xoxo" from w&w's You've Got Love Mail. To tone it down I sewed on a layer of vellum. Then I stamped the quote bubbles in black Versafine from Lawn Fawn's A Birdie Told Me. The heart, "why I love you" and "4ever" are all from our The Write Stuff: Love Story. I used the "you brighten my day" sentiment from the Summertime Charm stamp set by Lawn Fawn. I added Glossy Accents to the heart. The quote bubbles are adhered using foam dimensional adhesive. The whole panel was then added to a black card base. Volia!
Kelly is also joining in. CLICK HERE to check out her blog to see what marvels she's made. Don't miss it!
What do you think? Does this make you itch to try using your w&w stamps and/or cut files with your Lawn Fawn goodies? We would love to hear your opinion and feel free to play along.
Check back tomorrow for the second day of Share the Love Week featuring Lawn Fawn.
