Hello.
I really do not know where this last month has gone.
Its been truly fabulous being leading lady for Winnie and
Walter and i have had such an amazing fun making my projects.
Thanks to everyone that's stopped by and commented you
all made my month :)
I will pick a random winner for the $30 store
credit next Saturday so you will still have this week to comment :)
Please make sure to check back or make sure i can
contact you if you win.
Thanks.
Now on to my finale, I have gone 3D!
I have wanted to make one of these pop up card/box
thingys for ages.
After seeing the fantastically fun The Party Confetti Cutaways i thought they really
would be perfect popping up out of the box, like a party in a box lol.
Now i will be totally honest i didn't have any idea
how i was going to decorate the outside.
I had only thought of the pop ups.
So i kept i real simple and stamped the images from Scenery: Big Bang Bling in rainbow colours.
I then repeated on the insides to (the ones that fold
out).
All the die cut shapes and sentiments are attached to
strips of acetate so they look like they really are popping up out of the box.
The front of this card is very simple as i wanted the
3D element inside to make the statement.
I have used the Goldie Trim Cutaways to make 3D
streamers.
I used the lanterns from The Party stamp set so that the streamers didn't look
lost on the middle of the card.
They were simply heat embossed , fussy cut then
adhered on foam tape.
I made little tassels from twine instead of
stamping them just for an extra detail.
And a close up :)
Still on the theme of streamers i used the Scenery: Stripes stamped in pastel tones on my
panel and replicated the colours on the die cut sentiment.
I added some sprinkles of the birthday bash sequins
from Pretty pink posh.
Then the inside has pop up cupcakes.
Very simple to do but a nice touch that adds some
dimension.
The cupcakes are all paper pieced with patterned
paper.
Julie and Shay have very Kindly given me $30 gift card
to the Winnie and Walter store to give away on my blog
All you have to do for a chance to win is comment.
As mentioned i will pick a random winner next Saturday
so please do check back to see if your the lucky winner :)
I hope you have enjoyed my 3d cards and thanks so much
for stopping by.
