To start I cut the die cut all of the images twice using In Bloom: Ashlee's Rosie Posies with Lydia Evans Cutaways out of white cardstock. I then stamped the coordinating images onto them. I used CP inks for the images (some are at the w&w shop and all others found at Catherine Pooler) - Pink flowers: It's A Girl, Party Dress (w&w shop), Rockin' Red (w&w shop). Purple flowers: Sweet Sixteen, Pixie Dust, Tiki Torch. Blue flowers: It's a Boy, Sweet Sixteen, Tiki Torch, Lime Rickey (w&w shop). Leaves: Green Tea, Eucalyptus. Sentiment and outlines: Juniper Mist.
Once all my pieces were ready I then arranged them onto my card base. I adhered the flowers and leaves down flat. I adhered the die cut and stamped 'beautiful' sentiment using foam tape, then stamped the rest of the sentiment. And that's it!
Thank you so much for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Lydia.
ReplyDeleteFAO Shay - just wanted to say how much I love the card you did for the AAA Card challenge on Sunday! Love the idea of creating a lot of backgrounds one weekend - I may try that myself. Thanks so much for being our sponsor at AAA Cards!
