Congrats with Gayatri

Hello everyone,

Gayatri here today with you sharing a shaker card using the new release cutaway!

gayatri_Congrats red shaker card #1

To make this card, I used Flawless Heart Cutaways which is newly released. This set comes with the outline as well as solid dies. I used the solid heart cutaway to die cut the pattern paper, added an acetate sheet on the back. I then die cut the Flawless Heart Cutaways outline die using red cardstock. I inlaid this outline heart on the top of the acetate. I then added foam adhesive around the heat shape at the back and filled in with Walter’s Sparkly Shaker Selection sequins collection and added white backing sheet.

I matted this shaker element with red cardstock panel to tie in with the red outline Flawless Heart. Then adhered this on a white card base. Then sentiment is from The Big, the Bold and You Cutaways set. I die cut one from silver glitter paper and couple more using white cardstock. I stacked and glued them with silver glitter die cut on the top. Adhered is right across the shaker panel. To tie in a bit more of the red colour, I added some metallic red sequins.

I love making shaker box cards and the new release cutaways are perfect to make quick shaker elements on the card. Hope you are inspired by my card today. Thanks for stopping by!
