We are introducing our latest in The Big, the Bold series: The Big, the Bold and Party and also some new additions to The Big, the Bold series of cutaways (aka dies) as well: The Big, the Bold and Party Cutaways and The Big, the Bold and You Cutaways.  The word dies are almost exactly the same size as their counterpoint big word stamps so they work in conjunction with the little words and the big words, rather than being sticker/outline sized.

The Big, the Bold and Party includes five (5) big words: birthday; celebrate; invited; party; and wishes and like other sets includes tons of sentiment-building smaller words.

This set will work wonderfully with previously release The Big, the Bold series stamps, cutaways and creative screenings!

Hello everyone!  It’s time to share our 7^th release!  I can’t believe it has been a year already.  Where does the time go?  I hope you are ready to celebrate in a big way this week.  It’s going to be a blast!  Let’s not wait any longer - let’s get this party started!!!

Card No. 1

When developing The Big, the Bold series, Shay and I explore lots of different options, especially when it comes to the little words.  I told Shay that I thought we needed the word “na”.  “Na,” you ask?  Take a look!!

Yes, all I can hear in my head is either Paul McCartney or Anthony Michael Hall belting out these words.  So much fun!  I love to give a card that is going to make someone laugh or bring a memory and I think this card does both.  It will probably stir up a little singing too! 

Using the new The Big, the Bold and Party Cutaways, I have cut the word birthday, inked it up with my favorite navy ink (Ancient Page Lapis Blue – which is tied with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink) and heat set it.  These cutaways of the Big Bold series are so delicate, and I actually was able to curve the sentiment slightly, which I think is a great alternative.  I stamped the na na’s around, bouncing a little, to give it the movement of the song, and finished off the lyrics (all of those words are found in The Big, the Bold and Party Stamp Set) and embossed in white.  The asterisk confetti  is in The Party set, and comes in two sizes.  These are stamped in red and I love how bold they look.  To finish off the card, I added dots of silver Stickles for just a little added sparkle.    

Card No. 2

This card was inspired by our trip to CHA where Gold was very big!  I loved seeing gold paired with softer colors, and especially with pink.  So, I’ve created a pink and gold card for a dear friend of mine.  I don’t tell her enough how special she is.  I hope the gold and sparkle make her feel that special too.

The new Scenery: Stripes stamp set will showcase later this week, but I took the liberty to create a background with three of the stripes from the set. I used a pink chalk ink for the medium bold stripe, and Versamark and gold embossing powder for the thin and dotted stripe.  The “amazing” and “you” are also gold embossed, but the “you” is not a stamp. It is from The Big, the Bold and You Cutaways that we are releasing this month.  These cutaways are the counterpart to the stamp set released last March, and although not identical, they are approximately the same size and look fantastic.  I just inked up the die cut with Versamark and embossed it, and repeated with an extra layer of embossing powder to get a really smooth look to the word.  This panel is popped up and trimmed with gold glitter tape.  Pink and Gold!!!  *love*
