Noel with Vanessa

Hi everyone! Vanessa here and today I have a plaid Christmas card set to share.

I love the new Creative Screenings, the are so fun to play with. I used the Scenery: Ticking Stripe stencil and created plaid backgrounds for this card set:

To create my backgrounds, I adhered the stencil over a panel of white cardstock and inked it with an ink blending tool. Then I turned the stencil 90° and applied a darker shade of the color to the panel. After I had removed the stencil, I adhered the plaid paper to the card base.

Now I stamped various leaves and the poinsettia from In Bloom: Debra's Poinsettia with Lydia Evans, die-cut everything with the matching dies and adhered the images. I die-cut the In a Word: Noel Cutaway using gold foiled cardstock and adhered the words to the cards. Finally, I added enamel dots to my set.

I hope you like today's project! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. These are beautiful! I love plaid, but don't have stamps that I can get to work very well. Now I see I just need that stencil--thank you!

  5. Hi Vanessa! Your plaid Christmas card set is absolutely enchanting! The Creative Screenings add a magical touch. Just like crafting these beautiful cards, completing a dissertation is an art. It's like weaving intricate patterns of words and ideas, much like the delightful plaid backgrounds on your cards. By the way, speaking of word art, any tips on how many words in a dissertation? Would love your creative insights

  6. Noel takes center stage as the exclusive designer for her label, pouring passion and creativity into every creation. And just like crafting a bespoke piece, having your own cricket id online is the game-changer in the cricketing world.

  7. "I recently brought my diesel vehicle to the diesel clinic for some routine maintenance, and I was blown away by the level of professionalism and expertise displayed by their team. Not only did they perform the necessary service efficiently, but they also took the time to educate me about proper diesel engine care and maintenance. It's evident that they're passionate about what they do, and they're committed to ensuring that their customers have the knowledge they need to keep their diesel vehicles running smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the diesel clinic to anyone in need of diesel engine services. #DieselClinic"
