As usual, I'm excited to continue and share my creative process with you! Shay is offering my blog followers a $30 Winnie & Walter gift card as a giveaway. You can see the details of the giveaway at the end of this post. I decided to take it a little easy and not make too many cards. :) I was inspired by my own previous posts on watercolors and using color for inspiration. This time, I wanted to focus on one stamp set: My Precious. I already showed you one way to use this set in my second post, but here's the card again in case you haven't had the chance to see it yet:

My other cards show you a few more ways to use this same set. This one uses inspiration from my first post, black and white with a touch color and sparkle (although it's not gold). I started with a watercolor panel 4" x 5.25" and stamped different gems using waterproof black ink. I used two different watercolors to add light colors to some of the gems. I added black splatters like I always love to do. The sentiment was stamped on black cardstock with VersaMark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Finally, I added a strip of pink glitter cardstock on the side, glued the panel to its right and propped the sentiment with some foam tape. This look is simple, easy and beautiful. When you have small images, this is one way to use a stamp set.

My next card, I started with a white A2 panel that I die-cut using the large scallop frame die from Essentials: Audrey Cutaways. I took the script words 'gem', 'precious', and 'flawless' and stamped them on panel with a soft pink ink. I added dark pink splatters and set it aside to dry. On separate watercolor paper, I stamped the large heart image six times with VersaMark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I created an ombre watercolor look with same pink hues. Once it was dry, I fussy cut the hearts and added sprays of white, gold shimmer, and shimmer spray, which I set aside to dry. On a strip of white cardstock, I stamped the sentiments 'you sparkle' 'you rock' and 'you shine' with dark pink ink. I arranged all the hearts and sentiments with foam tape over the previously stamped panel.

My last card is also quite simple to create. I stamped the gems with waterproof black ink onto watercolor paper and added some splashes of watercolors. I fussy cut all the images, added some shimmer with a pen and set them aside. I cut a black frame panel and mounted it to my white card base with foam tape. I wanted a photo frame look. I glued some of them gems in the center. I didn't want to add any sentiment. I figured the gems needed the focal point. You can see the shimmer in the last photo!

Of course there are so many more ways to use this stamp set, but I was pressed for time. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you liked today's post as much as my last two. I have two more left! Winnie & Walter is generously offering a $30 gift card to my readers so be sure to visit me at A Rare Ruby to enter to win! :)
