>>>THE GOOD STUFF<<<

Let's get to the fun part and see these products in action.

Shay

I am back with two rather simple birthday cards today.  I am always needing birthday cards and it is quite lovely to have products that are versatile so I can use them for any age or gender.

shay_IMG_4187

Today's cards are cheerful and could send it to most anyone.

shay_IMG_4188

For my first card I stamped a piece of 4.25 x 5.5 inch cardstock creating a background using Ring in the Celebration.  I cut the piece in half lengthwise.  On an A2 white card base I adhered half of the background and then added a strip of navy cardstock.  Atop the navy strip I added "celebrate" cut using In a Word: Celebrate and sprayed with shimmery mist.  I then added a glittery gold star.  What I really love about this design is it is very easy to make 2 cards at once.

For my second card I inked up Mini Scenery: Round and Round with yellows and oranges.  I cut it out and adhered it to the smaller rectangle from Essentials: Lana Essentials which so happens to be perfectly sized to fit any of our Mini Scenery backgrounds.  I adhered the panel onto a white A2 card base.  I cut out the "birthday" out of the rectangle from In a Word: Birthday Tiles and then taped the letters on the back to keep them in place.  I adhered them to the background and cut out the handwritten "happy" from In a Word: Happy Coordinating Cutaways and inked it up with the darker orange.  I adhered it to the card to finish it off.

  16. Oh, all of these project are so swoon-worthy. They make me want to run to my craftroom to given my set from the SOA collection some love. I don't normally get any matching dies for my stamps, but I think I will have to make an exception for the Ring in the Celebrations dies. They can be used both with and without the stamps. Also love the Round and Round set. So cool!
