June 2017 Release Showcase with Mayuri

Hello there, Mayuri here to share some cards using the June Release - I didn't get to create anything for the release, as I hadn't received all the lovely products in time :-( But, I wanted to show you how amazing the stamps and dies are and how I used them to make the following cards.

Here's the first card:

I began by stamping the cute images from In Bloom: Carolina's Florals with Angelica Suarez onto a panel of white cardstock with Versamark ink, sprinkling with white embossing powder and heat setting. I then loosely watercoloured each element with some ZIG Real Color Brush pens and stamped sentiments from the same set underneath. To finish, I added a few sequins in coordinating colours. Here's my second card:

I had so much fun creating this one, using just the Big Balloon Dies, Distress Inks and a sentiment! I created the coloured balloons by smooshing different Distress Inks onto a craft sheet, spritzing with water and swiping a panel of white cardstock through the inky puddles. I heat set and repeated the process until I'd produced the desired effect. I then took different sized balloon dies and die-cut the shapes out of the inky panels and arranged them on a white card base before foam mounting them down. I stamped a sentiment from Sentimental: Birthday underneath the balloons and drew in the string with a black marker. Here's my third card:

For this one, I simply stamped images from In Bloom: Carolina's Florals with Angelica Suarez onto a panel of white cardstock, through a heart shaped mask. I've had this mask for ages now - its just a piece of copy paper, out of which a cut out a heart! I stamped the images with neon coloured inks, finishing the detail with black dye ink. Once complete, I removed the mask to reveal the stamping! I added a die-cut birthday sentiment using In a Word: Birthday Cutaway and topped it off with a sentiment which was heat embossed in white on a strip of black cardstock. Here's my last card:

I really like the simplicity of this card - all I needed was the garland image from the Party On with Evelin T Designs set, a sentiment from Happy Dance with Evelin T Designs and a selection of inks! I repeatedly stamped the garland towards the top half of a panel of white cardstock with Distress Inks, in rainbow order then stamped again with gold and black ink. I trimmed the panel down to slightly smaller than my card base and stamped the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. Before foam mounting the panel, I swiped gold ink across all four edges of the card base for some detail, and then finished with a few sequins!

I hope you enjoyed my take on the June Release!
