Sending Hugs with Vanessa

Hey everyone! Vanessa here with a watercolor background card. I love to play with my Peerless Watercolors, so I used them on a simple card:

I started with a panel of watercolor paper that I had trimmed slightly smaller than a Kraft card base. Now I stamped and heat-embossed the leaves from In Bloom: Renee's Leaves using white embossing powder. I colored the leaves and the background with Peerless Watercolors and added little spritzes of  green color to the background. After everything was dried, I adhered the panel to the card. Then I stamped and heat-embossed the "sending" from The Big, the Bold and Friends onto a strip of Kraft cardstock, trimmedit and adhered it to the card. Now I die-cut "hugs" from TheBig, the Bold and Friends Cutaways thrice from green cardstock, layered them and adhered the word. I finished the card off with matching sequins.

I hope you liked today's card! It is very relaxing to play with watercolors and you practially can't do wrong :)

Thanks for visiting today!
